![]() Due to hexblade you use cha as your attack modifer, you get 3 attacks per round with a FLAT bonus of 12(cha+prof+2), you can smite, and all that with the insane saves, face abilities, expertieses and a lot of skill proficiencies, party support and the bard spell list. Wear medium armor+ shield and a quarterstaff. Str-13, dex 14, con 15, int 9 wis 12 cha 16 Feats: polearm master, warcaster, +2 cha (for max). Hey i might be alittle late for the party but here's a couple buils i have in mind- the ultimate all rounder- 12 swords bard/1hex warlock/2paladin. This combined with any better magic items you may find/buffs your allies give you will lead you to become quite a beast. If you are worried about magic: don't worry for long, in 2 more levels you get diamond soul which gives you proficiency in all saving throws. With resistance applied and considering temporary hit points you gain after killing things your effective hp should be more than double that amount. Without rolling for hit points you should have 191 taking the average at this level. Although it will get more legendary attacks if there are more people in the initiative order. In a straight up fight between just you and an adult dragon you have a considerable chance of beating it single handedly while raging. ![]() In a fight against multiple enemies if you get the killing blow you gain 12 temp hp (also resistant if raging). I would save ki points mostly for when you drop to zero. You won't care as much if they hit you, because you are resistant to all damage except psychic. Use any weapon you like or use your bare hands. Then you activate your once a day aasimar power and wail on them until they die. You get in after raging and use one of your attacks to grapple enemies that want to get away. This build is designed to tank pretty much anything. Enemies that see your face, rarely live to tell the tale. ![]() When you take it off, radiant burning light sears you and those around you. The Shield of Andrim, A shield that protects the noble knight from even the deadliest attacks, The breath of dragons, The spells of lichs, even meteors from the sky. Sir Harold Andrim, A knight of the Andrim family It's not the fanciest build in the world by any means but it's something that I'd definitely have a lot of fun playing. Maybe a Sword of Wounding, or just a +2 weapon of some kind. I'd be critting all the time and nobody would be able to get a crit off on me. I'm less sure about magical items, but Adamantium Armor for the uncommon item could be really good. And on a crit I role an extra 2d8 rather than just 1 (thanks to Brutal Critical). For your second Fighting Style pick up Defense.īy level 15 I should have 20 AC, and my stats should be as follows:Īt this level, I'd be making 4 attacks a round (7 on an action surge) and criting 15% of the time. Two Weapon Fighting style, pick up the Duel Wielder Feat. Level 15 is when Champion Fighters begin to crit at 18-20, so I'd be sorely tempted to do a simple crit-fisher build.Ĭhoose Half Orc for race for those brutal criticals and relentless endurance, and then just go 15 levels of fighter. ![]() The artifact is accidentally activated somehow, and transports the heroes to an alternate reality/the heroes are thrown forward in time to where a tyrannical and powerful dragon has taken over.Īnyway, I had fun generating some characters with these things in mind, hopefully you will too.
